The business side of the Greater Internet has been trying to figure out for a long time how to advertise without seeming like you’re advertising. Sometimes paid listicles do the trick. Sometimes guerrilla stunts work nicely. And sometimes it’s all just very see-through.
But GoPro has managed to cut through the obviousness of it all. They show you the best practices, slap their name on it, and voila, you want one. It’s simple, too: A dog playing fetch. Now, firefighters saving a kitten:
