Here’s just the thing to slink out of the worst politico-media news day in recent memory: Watch this stirring rendition of our national anthem at Wednesday night’s game at the TD Garden, the first big sporting event since the Boston marathon bombing. The Bruins’ longtime anthem singer, Rene Rancourt, started the song, only to cede control to a resilient city. Perfect.
