Lady News Anchor Clearly Not Aware of April Fool’s Day
So let’s pretend it’s April 1 and you are a lady news anchor at San Diego’s Fox 5. Your co-anchor has the unbelievable story of the new iPhone app “Virtual Sip,” which through some mumbo jumbo purports to turn the iPhone into a virtual scratch-and-sniff piece of machinery.
At the end of his segment, which is being filmed and will no doubt end up on the Internet, when he says to you, “Yeah, dude, check it out!” right before handing you an iPad, do you A) take the iPad and whack him across the head while yelling “Boom goes the Dynamite, sucka!” B) politely tell him no thanks or work out a deal where both anchors lick at the same time or C) begin sniffing and licking immediately, thus looking like a fool? If you answered C, congratulations you are Shally Zomorodi.
If she’s just playing along in good fun, then we apologize. But also? How awesome is anchor Raoul Martinez for being brazen enough to not only attempt this on live television, but also pull it off. Ron Burgundy would be so proud of his fellow San Diegoan.
