Fast-Moving Mudslide Tears Through Washington State Road

A severe rainstorm swept through the Cascades in Washington, causing eight different mudslides to cover the roadway.

According to the Washington Department of Transportation, within minutes the roadway was totally impassible due to this fast-moving mudslide:

Yikes. Also, if you’re wondering why there’s no audio, apparently “a vulgar bicyclist near the area expressed himself in ways that we were better off not sharing,” the state’s Department of Transportation said.
