Like most Pageview Bonanza Hoaxes circulating the internet in 2013, it’s legitimately tough to discern what #hot #viral #content is actually real.

The “Villain Pros” behind this homemade To Catch a Predator video that hit Reddit on Boxing Day probably won’t like the outcome if it’s genuine — they may suffer a worse legal fate than their predator-becomes-prey target.

The set-up is explained as such: A 33-year-old dude was hitting up this guy’s 13-year-old sister, so instead of notifying the proper authorities or the ghost of Chris Hansen, they decided to just beat his ass.

Hopefully it’s fake, because nobody looks good here.

On some level, you have to find some serious fault with the aggressors here: Why beat up some dude and release him into the wild to hit up other girls when you can have the cops set up a sting and prevent future harm? Nah, best not think this one through when we can MAN UP ON HIM.
