Video Shows Gruesome Gran Turismo Crash That Injured At Least 17 Spectators

At least 17 people were injured after a speeding car careened into a crowd at the Gran Turismo Polonia in Poland.

According to local officials, the driver of a Koenigsegg CCX lost control and crashed into the dozens of spectators lining the road.

At least four people were seriously injured in the crash. The driver of the car was not hurt. A witness said the “car began to dance, a driver lost control of the vehicle.”

The event allows owners of exotics to race about on public streets and private tracks throughout Europe. This was the 9th annual race.

Koenigsegg CCX is one of the fastest street legal cars in the world with a top speed of 260 mph. The base price for one is $1,600,000.
