Listen to Christopher Dorner’s Gun Battle With Authorities in Big Bear

UPDATE: The cabin where Dorner had barricaded himself inside has burned. CBS News was first to report that Dorner’s body was found in the burned cabin. But an LAPD spokesperson said Tuesday night that no search has been performed and “no body” has been “located inside of that cabin.”

UPDATE II: A body *has* been recovered. It awaits identification.

Christopher Dorner, the former LAPD police officer who is being sought in connection with a double homicide and the ambush/shootings of three police officers, exchanged gunfire with authorities in the Big Bear area.

Warning: This gets pretty serious.

The gun battle reportedly occurred after Dorner broke into a home, tied up a couple and stole their car, according to the AP.

Dorner shot and killed a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy in the gunfight — that brings the total of people killed by Dorner to four.

Also, someone in Howard Stern’s collective got through to CBS on live TV:
