Christie Eats a Doughnut Before Giving Fat Guy Answer on Letterman New Jersey Governor Chris Christie described his weight as “fair game” for comedians during Monday’s appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. But, like Jerry Seinfeld who is more offended by the joke as a comedian than a Jew, Christie said, “I only care if you’re funny. From my perspective, if the joke is funny, I laugh. If it’s not funny, I don’t laugh. But I’ve never felt like it was anything that bugged me all that much.” Christie also went to the Super Bowl on Sunday, and he gave a surprising description of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell during the power outage.
