Chinese Cosplay: Life at the Fair

It is currently illegal to buy or sell a video game console in the People’s Republic of China. Rumors have swirled recently that the Chinese Ministry of Culture is considering lifting the ban, which has been in place since 2000.

Nonetheless, a thriving cosplay culture exists in China. On Sunday, there were plenty of good times and awesome characters mingling at the Animation and Comics Fair in Beijing — here’s a look at the action this weekend.
