Last week’s fight invitation from amateur MMA fighter @ChrsBrwnChllnge is not to be outdone by a pro wrestler — WWE champion CM Punk — laying out a challenge of his own to the singer/actor/intergender boxer/restraining order collector, tweeting, ”I would like @chrisbrown fight somebody that can defend themselves. Me curb stomping that turd would be a #wrestlemania moment.”

Brown responded with some juvenile guff about how Punk is so ’roided up he could never “pleasure a women.” Ding ding ding! Here comes round 2.

Punk gets real. Very real. He starts by refuting the accusations of steroid use, saying he lives a straight-edge, drug-free lifestyle, and adds that in his world, women are respected, period.

“Chris wants to throw stones my way now, and I say that’s fine, but put some gloves on and get in the ring. I will choke you out and I will make you feel as weak and powerless and scared and alone as any woman who has had the misfortune of knowing a sad, cowardly little boy such as yourself. And all proceeds can go to a women’s shelter of my choosing. … I’m also a realist, and I know none of these things will happen because Chris Brown isn’t a man. And that’s fine. I just know that someday, somewhere, somehow, somebody will put Chris Brown exactly where he belongs, and it obviously doesn’t have to be me — I’d just really like it to be.”

Wow. Your move, Chris. Although we’ll be surprised if it’s anything more than a classy “I WON A GRAMMY SO FUCK YOU!”
