Something tells us Gisele Bundchen, wife of the Pats’ Tom Brady, isn’t very popular among the rest of the team. When postgame paparazzi hounded the QB’s wife as she exited the stadium, she frustratedly lashed out at the Pats, who lost the Super Bowl 17–21.
Bundchen told the crowd around her, “My husband cannot fucking throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”
Bundchen, 31, faced plenty of criticism after her outburst. “You can’t point fingers at anybody,” said Pats defensive back James Ihedigbo. “You win it as a team; you win it and lose it as a team. And we lost to a good football team.” The Insider host Kevin Frazier sat down with CBS News to tell them what he saw as he walked with Eli Manning’s wife, Abby. He says Bundchen looked happy and was saying her husband played “amazing” — but then a fan yelled, “Eli Manning owned your husband!” Says Frazier, “Now, I thought Giselle was gonna let it go. …”
“I’m a coach’s kid who used to cry when his dad lost a game … I understand the raw emotions of the moment,” Frazier adds. “The people around her wanted a reaction. … She’s gotta know better. I’m surprised she did it, and a lot of people heard it.”
