This Nicki Minaj Video Is Banned From BET

Our censorship standards sure seem strange these days. BET won’t say why Minaj’s “Stupid Hoe” video isn’t airing, but our guess is the side-butt views and, just maybe, the name of the song. (It should really be banned for the epileptic-seizure-inducing rapid-fire cuts, Alice in Wonderland imagery and egregious overuse of animals morphing into Nicki Minaj.)

MTV, which in the past has only banned hip-hop vids for referencing assassination, will continue to air it. As dumb and derogatory as a song called “Stupid Hoe” may be, thongs and misogynist slurs don’t really push any new ground for profanity, do they? Anyway, here’s the whole silly mess below.
