MORE: 15 Questions for Chris Brown’s MMA Challenger

 
To be clear, the guy on the left, @ChrsBrwnChllnge, is not an MMA fighter. He’s just a 24-year-old guy with a dream, and that dream is to take on performer/domestic abuser Chris Brown in a UFC-style fight.

The challenger weighs in at 160 pounds and measures five-foot-seven. He has one to two years’ training in “mostly karate, some judo and a little Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,” but he’s “more of a cubicle worker.” At six two, Chris Brown is seven inches taller and about 20 pounds heavier. He’s also a professional dancer and nonprofessional intergender boxer. @ChrsBrwnChllnge could actually get his ass kicked, but he doesn’t care. He simply wants Brown to accept a real, semi-fair, man-on-man fight.

@ChrsBrwnChllnge promoted himself on Reddit last week, offering up this amazing line as means of an explanation: “You can’t moonwalk out on life’s challenges.”

When we asked him if Brown had gotten in touch, he responded, “Nothing. A few vague anti-hater tweets as usual, but I don’t think anything actually directed towards the challenge.”

We’ll be shocked if Chris Brown actually replies. Then again, he doesn’t always speak or act with his public image in mind — and the challenger is doing a decent job of relentlessly goading the performer, insulting his manhood and quoting the police report of Brown’s 2009 attack on Rihanna.

Amazingly, this isn’t the first fighter to challenge Brown to an MMA battle. Pro fighter Din Thomas offered his services to Rihanna in 2009, announcing from the ring, “It’s not cool to put your hands on a woman. So, Rihanna, if you want someone to kick his ass, holler at me.”

The man behind @ChrsBrwnChllnge has chosen to remain anonymous thus far, but we’ve reached out to him in hopes of a little Q&A that goes beyond what he divulged to the Reddit community.

Chris Brown will have to decide if he takes on any comers at all, but the list is growing. On Monday, WWE superstar CM Punk also challenged Brown to a fight in the ring. New trend?
