C.C. Sabathia Goes to DL, Possibly Due to Spider-Man in His Butt

The Yankees have reported that pitcher C.C. Sabathia is headed to the DL with a slight strain of the adductor muscle near his left groin. The injury will keep Sabathia out of service for his next two starts until the MLB enters its All-Star Break beginning July 7.

Sabathia reported feeling discomfort in his left leg in the fourth inning of his last start, against the Mets, a game in which he only lasted until the sixth inning and allowed five runs. That begs the question of just when exactly the injury was suffered.

Here at HyperVocal we have a sneaking suspicion that it was in Sabathia’s previous start against the Atlanta Braves that Spider-Man caused the groin injury. In fact, we have video proof. Just check out this 7th-inning clip, in which a Spidey graphic seems to shoot right out of Sabathia’s rear.

One can only imagine how much strain a rogue Spider-Man in the large intestines can put on your groin.

It’s a GIF, too!
