BP announced it will pay $4.5 billion in penalties and plead guilty to felony misconduct for its part in the Deepwater Horizon explosion that killed 11 people and led to the biggest offshore oil spill in American history.

Many believe it’s a good-as-any settlement, but if you’re wondering how this will hurt the company, the fine will take them FOUR DAYS to make up in revenue based on BP’s 2011 earnings figures. Yahtzee.
