Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva (Nellie? Like Tobias?) had the exclusive: The new installment of Arrested Development for Netflix will begin production tomorrow. I’ve learned that the entire cast of Mitch Hurwitz’s cult Fox series — Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Portia de Rossi, David Cross, Jessica Walter, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat and Tony Hale — are all in final negotiations and expected to return. The original’s producers Imagine TV and 20th Century Fox TV are behind the sequel, with Hurwitz, Troy Miller and Imagine’s Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo set to executive produce the new episodes. Howard also is reprising his role as the series’ narrator. Each of the new episodes follows one member of the Bluth clan, although some episodes may feature multiple characters. Arrested Development will be in production through the fall. The entire season will drop simultaneously on Netflix in 2013.
