Okay, so it’s not Morrissey and Johnny Marr. But The Smiths, Will and Jada Pinkett, are headed to Oprah’s couch for the daytime queen’s grand finale on May 25th, according to The Daily.

Flash revealed the closely held secret but refused to speculate whether there would be other guests. Will Tom Cruise show up? What about John Travolta? One last chat with Dr. Phil McGraw?

It’s hard to imagine that the last show of Oprah’s legendary 25-year run would end only with a simple interview with DJ Jazzy Jeff’s sassmouthed sidekick and the lead actor in a TNT medical procedural (even if their somehow-equally-famous offspring, Willow and Jaden, join them on the couch).

Two more details were revealed — one last confrontation and the asking price of the ad time:

The last week of the show also will feature a two-episode rematch between Oprah and James Frey, the controversial writer of “A Million Little Pieces,“ which is being teased as ”the biggest controversy in Oprah show history.”

Speaking of a million little pieces, Oprah’s Harpo Productions is asking $1 million for 30-second commercials for the last week of the show.

Okay, so the Frey news is a few weeks old. But the ad time, that’s a big ticket right there.

And, of course, be on the lookout for audience members personifying the textbook definition of hysteria if and when Oprah gives away cars and other assorted favorite things. This…is…priceless:
