Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ is a song that’s oft been abused by soulless reality singing show contestants. It’s a song best served with a hefty bit of emotion, and Irish priest Father Ray Kelly delivered a stirring rendition of the song at a recent wedding over which he presided.

Despite the fact that Father Kelly reworked the lyrics to make it applicable to the bride and groom, the feeling and message of the song remain intact. This just might make you heathens believe in god.

Will this be a regular thing? “Father Kelly Covers The Classics.” There’s no doubt he’s about to become the most coveted wedding officiant for miles.
