Just last month, Justin Timberlake hit pause on the Internet when he made a video announcing he would be making an announcement. Meta. Though they haven’t been away from the game as long as JT, it’s been more than three years since Vampire Weekend released their sophomore album “Contra.” Instead of a grandiose net-stopping video, the group took out a simple ad in the “Notices & Lost and Found” section of Monday’s New York Times to announce the title of their third album effort, “Modern Vampires of The City,” due out May 7th.
