The use of the word “talent” in the name of shows like “[Country's] Got Talent” is often questionable, but a young contestant on Holland’s version of the show actually exemplifies the word in this case.

Nine-year-old Amira Willighagen knocked the wooden clogs off the judges with her rendition of ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’ (Oh My Beloved Father), an aria from Giacomo Puccini’s opera ‘Gianni Schicchi.’ What were you doing when you were nine years old? Coloring? Beating your high score on Tetris? Prepare to feel wowed and inadequate.
