Will Smith Leads London Girls School in ‘Fresh Prince’ Theme Rap-Along

Like David Hasselhoff in Germany, the English really love Will Smith.

In May 2012, the Jazzy Jeff-less Fresh Prince led a BBC audience in a ‘Bel Air theme’ rap-along with a most enthusiastic audience who knew every word. Nearly a year later, Smith was back in the UK with his son, Jaden, who is touring with the paparazzi-scuffling Biebs. Smith stopped by the St Martin-in-the-Fields High School for Girls in South London (“London’s Harlem,” according to Smith’s two Parliament hosts). And like GITMO, the kids love the ‘Fresh Prince’ theme so much that Smith led another UK rap-along.

What’s really amazing is how these kids, who were barely people when the Fresh Prince of Bel Air was on air show, know every single world so well they belt it out at the top of their lungs. THAT’S your legacy, Smith.
