The left hates the right. The right hates the left. Liberals think conservatives are a bunch of inbred rednecks who searched harder for birth certificates than WMDs. Conservatives think liberals are a bunch of tofu-eating pot smokers who identify more with Communists than Constitutionalists.

To realize Rodney King’s impossible dream of “Can’t we all just get along?,” two voices on opposite political extremes have come together to emphasize that we do have things in common, despite the hollow rhetoric often spat on cable and the web.

This video notwithstanding, do you like to debate? There’s an app for that.

Along with our friends at BlocRolly, we here at HyperVocal created WeForPresident, a new social network and Facebook application that aims to enhance the political landscape by “gamifying” and socializing citizen involvement in the 2012 presidential election. The new platform uses full Facebook, Twitter & Tumblr integration and aims to educate the electorate and increase voter participation on a massive scale.

Go try out WeForPresident now. It’s good times.
