You may know the PS22 Chorus from its many high-profile public appearances and the effusive praise of its prominent supporters like Oprah, Perez Hilton, Katy Perry and many others.

The Staten Island-based elementary school chorus directed by Gregg Breinberg has seen its view count on YouTube climb above 40 million over the years, and they’re still cranking out incredible cover after incredible cover for the world to watch in amazement of these talented kids.

The oft-seen chorus’ latest effort is a cover of the oft-seen Gotye (and Kimbra) song “Somebody That I Used to Know,” which as of posting time has been viewed more than 72 million times on YouTube.

It really just does not get any better than that. That’s why Gotye himself tweeted and Facebook’d it.

So much music out there. So many musicians in the world. So many music videos on YouTube. How do you stand out? How do you get people to notice you? What’s it gonna take?

If you’re Walk off the Earth and Sarah Blackwood, the simple solution is to perform a cover of Belgian-born, Australia-based musician Gotye‘s “Somebody That I Used to Know”…on one guitar.

Here’s the Gotye original, which has amassed a cool 72+ million views since July 2011:
