Reggie Watts, Jon Hamm Make Sweet, Sweet Sounds Together Comedy Bang! Bang!, a new IFC show premiering in June, describes itself as a “spontaneously surreal talk show,” is hosted by comedian Scott Aukerman and accompanied by the musical stylings of beatboxing comedy wizard Reggie Watts. He teamed up with Mad Men star Jon Hamm for a buzzworthy musical video promo, providing the rhythms to Hamm’s improvisational spoken-word flow about, um, the show Taxi. It’s unorthodox and unexpected and has a kind of rawness and swagger to it and made me say, “Yeah, I’d watch this.” Check it out here.
