Nicki Minaj, channeling her inner LL Cool J, reportedly told Mariah Carey, “I’m gonna knock you out” at American Idol auditions in Charlotte.

It’s all part of this so-obviously-framed-by-American Idol-producers-and-sold-to-TMZ-as-news fracas between new judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. Poor Keith Urban, caught in the middle of … well, nothing, he’ll make his gobs of money, go home and have a Foster’s.

“I told them I’m not f*ckin’ putting up with her f**kin’ highness over there,” Minaj can be heard screaming on video. If you can’t see through the marketing ploy for the introduction of these wacky new judges and want to read about this very real fight between very real people, TMZ hooks you up.
