For the second time on the Rolling Stones’ “50 and Counting” tour, Mary J. Blige joined the band for “Gimme Shelter.” The Stones may have left the Queen behind in England, but they brought the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul across the pond to their first U.S. show since 2006. This is beauteous.

The band played the Barclays Center without two Stones — neither bassist Bill Wyman nor guitarist Mick Taylor made the trip from London.

How does Blige’s performance stack up against the Machine-less Florence Welch, who did her own “Gimme Shelter” in late November.
