Hey Girl, Here’s a 10-Year-Old Ryan Gosling Dancing to C+C Music Factory at a Mormon Talent Show

Before the Mickey Mouse Club discovered the now-ubiquitous actor/hunk/superhero, Ryan Gosling was a gawky Canadian kid with a horrible bowl cut who just happened to have some nasty dance moves. Here he is in 1991, melting hearts with this angelic cover of “When a Man Loves a Woman” and breaking it down to C+C Music Factory’s “Everybody Dance Now” with his sister, Mandi.

According to Us Weekly, the young Goslings tore up the religious-talent-show circuit near their home in Ontario. (Their parents were Mormons.) Two years after this video was shot, he’d become a Disney star and eventually start appearing in TV shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Goosebumps.

And then the world would forget about him because he is not handsome or talented or funny or noble or inspiring or anything. Nope. Not at all.
