‘Community’ Actors Mock Season 4 Premiere Date Pushback Follow Us Community was supposed to air its season four premiere on October 19, which is tonight. Only the network decided to hold off on that premiere, probably because the show is a freakin’ nightmare of a mess since NBC decided to fire creative force and now-ex-showrunner Dan Harmon. The show’s actors came together to film this NBC-mocking spot, which is quickly making its way around the Internet. “Even though the powers at be agreed to put the premiere on Oct. 19, they couldn’t decide where to put Oct. 19,” Danny Pudi says as Abed. “They explained to us that Oct. 19 isn’t just a date. It’s a state of mind.” Hilarity ensues. Dan Harmon aired his hard feelings in brilliant successive tweets: Take heart today, Communifans. To quote a great man, “The show has its faithful audience and they will follow it to the ends of the Earth.” — Dan Harmon (@danharmon) October 19, 2012 (That quote was from NBC’s Bob Greenblatt, who then literally moved the show to the end of Earth) — Dan Harmon (@danharmon) October 19, 2012 As for our feelings, this about sums it up: SEE ALSO: • ‘Community’ Returns Trailer Is Very Streets Ahead • Do All Plus-Sized Black Women Look Alike to You? • Joel McHale Makes Coffee for Sexiest Man Alive Shoot [Mashable] Follow Us
