VIDEO: Why Do All Those Pop Songs Sound the Same?
Ever think pop songs all start to sound the same after a while? It turns out there’s a reason for that.
The Australian band The Axis of Awesome performed this updated version of their classic “4 Chords” song at this year’s Red Nose Day. It’s a medley of the truly massive number of pop songs that use the same four chords. Beyond how funny it is, it’s also very well composed and performed.
Red Nose Day is the British charity Comic Relief’s yearly event to raise money for tackling poverty and injustice around the world. It’s usually a day-long telethon event that involves some of the biggest names in British comedy and music performing. Check out the video below:
