The ongoing phenomenon of American celebrities cashing Japanese paychecks might just be the best source of unintentional comedy the world has ever bestowed onto us.

Whether it’s Sean Connery on a drive for Biogurt, John Travolta giving life to the gay rumors for Tokyo Drink or Charlize Theron flirting with ugly puppets for Honda, the easy-score art of “Japandering” has given us much to marvel at through the years.

Somehow, we never saw this 1992 James Brown commercial for Miso Ramen Cup Noodles until now. You can search, but you will find very few, if any, videos that beat this today.

We’d bet good money that only took one take. What a pro.
