It’s official: Peter Weller is down to be immortalized by the city of Detroit.

In the new Funny or Die exclusive, he calls out Mayor Bing for calling the idea of a RoboCop statue “silly,” and explains how important it is for the city’s morale. Can’t say I’m surprised. I mean this is literally the crowning achievement of this guy’s career right? I mean if my landlord approached me and said, “You know, you do such a mind-bottlingly awesome job blogging that I’d like to put a statue of you on the toilet with your laptop on the roof of the building,” what the hell do you think I’d do? I’d be out looking for some oversized novelty scissors and a pair of pants to wear to the ribbon cutting. No-brainer.
