During an otherwise forgettable MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, hip-hop’s royal couple — Beyoncé and Jay-Z — alluded to the fact that they would be adding one more to their family.

Last year it was Lady Gaga’s meat dress. Tthe year before that it was the Kanye West/Taylor Swift speechus interruptus. This year, it turns out that Beyoncé showing off her little baby bump stole the show.

Good thing Kanye let Jay-Z finish: Clearly Beyoncé has one of the best wombs of all-time. OF ALL-TIME!

The Telegraph reports: “She later performed her song ‘Love On Top,’ telling the audience to stand up and saying, ‘I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.’ At the end, she took off her jacket, smiled broadly and rubbed her tummy. In the audience, Jay-Z was congratulated by Kanye West and he gave Beyoncé a big wave.”

Awesome. There’s no word on when the baby is due, but one has to assume Beyoncé wouldn’t make an announcement like this before the end of her first trimester. Assuming she’s about three months pregnant, her due date is probably sometime in late January or early February.

“I feel like a woman. I feel like I’m very aware of who I am. I feel great and I feel like 30 is the ideal age [to start a family], because you’re mature enough to know who you are and to have your boundaries and your standards, and not be afraid, too polite — but you’re young enough to be a young woman,” she said in a June interview with Piers Morgan. “I’m so looking forward to it.”

The big question now, however, is what are the future prospects for the kid of Beyonce and Jay-Z? Does their offspring venture the courage to go into entertainment or just cruise on their parents’ millions?

Perhaps more than any of those questions, however, is what’s up with Lady Gaga’s character she’s been rocking lately named Jo Calderone? It’s kind of freaky.
