Dan Aykroyd’s 1975 SNL Screen Test (and a Few Others)

The once-funny Dan Aykroyd runs through a selection of hilarious voices while searching for a punchline during his screen test for Saturday Night Live in 1975. He was fresh out of Toronto’s Second City improv troupe. It’s an impressive turn — both for the powers of cocaine and Aykroyd’s nimble comedic talents.

Plus, that mustache made him look older than his twenty-two years of age.

That video has just started to make the rounds thanks to Dangerous Minds and Buzzfeed. But, it got us wondering what some other SNL audition tapes looked like.
