Black Keys Do Their Own History of Dance in “Lonely Boy” Vid

If you’re surprised the Black Keys have released another album so quickly after the very successful, Brother, you’re not alone. The blues/rock duo could probably have milked that album for another year or so. Regardless, last week they announced the arrival of their seventh LP, Camino, and it feels a bit weird complaining about the band releasing more music. Talk about first world problems.

On Wednesday morning, the duo dropped a video for “Lonely Boy,” the first single off the new record. The song is great, but the video is something special. Honestly, it’s a bit bizarre, a bit funny, and has huge viral potential. This is straight OK Go territory.

The guy does a mean Carlton Banks! Between this, the Bob Odenkirk-starring announcement video for Camino, and the video for “Howlin’ For You” it feels like they’ve really stepped up their video efforts.

New album hits store on December 6.
