Who’s Better: Two Blokes Trade Sir Michael Caine Impressions

It seems as if everyone can do a half-decent impersonation of Michael Caine. But leave it to the professionals across the pond to nail a Caine impression while staying in their real-life characters.

BBC’s The Trip is a new series starring legendary British comedic actors Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. The premise is simple: Coogan agrees to review six restaurants in the north of England, and he takes Brydon with him.

In this clip circulating the series of tubes, Coogan and Brydon play a little game of Caine Oneupsmanship, trying to outdo each other with their impressions of Sir Michael Caine, with each man spanning decades and emotional ranges. Bloody brilliant, that.

So what do you think? Does Coogan (second) have it? Or is Brydon (first) the winner? Sound off.
