We first became aware of the pics when the post made it to the top of the r/sex subreddit. The images, 93 in total, are all taken from the Instagram account of xmelissamakeupx.

Melissa, whose bio on her Instagram account describes her as a “Multiple award winning makeup artist to the stars,” took these photos to showcase her professional talents, rather than shame the unpainted faces of performers. As women whose careers hinge on their appearance, it’s not only brave, but incredibly vulnerable to allow yourself to be photographed in such a way.
