Portal 2 on Sale for $30, Free DLC Coming Soon
Good news, Portal fans! In just over two weeks since the game’s launch, those who were hoping for a longer game should be excited to hear the news that Portal’s first DLC package will be dropping this summer, but more importantly will be totally free across all platforms (Xbox 360, PS3, PC/MAC).
Portal 2 will be getting new test chambers, leaderboards and challange mode for single and multiplayer challenge mode this summer, Valve confirmed today.
So there you go. After completing both the single player and co-op modes I know I wasn’t the only one wondering where the original Portal’s challenge mode was in Portal 2. I mean, I’ve got science to do, people.
The new co-op is incredible, adding to the fun of the puzzle genre’s signature eureka moments by upping the confusion level significantly with the additional 2 portals.
Those who haven’t picked the game up yet will also be pumped to learn that the game’s actually on sale already at Gamestop and Amazon. Me? I’ll just be pissed for paying full price 2 weeks ago.
And finally, here’s a video that’s been portaling around the Internet of some guy who’s DOING IT WRONG, but in all the right ways.
